Irish Drone aims to provide clear and fair refund policy information for customers purchasing drone products, accessories, software, care plans or related equipment in Ireland. This Refunds Policy explains how cancellations, returns, refunds, faulty items, shipping costs and activated drone products are handled.
Irish Drone is operated by IRPC Green Energy Ltd T/A Irish Drone. This policy applies to purchases made through our website and should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Shipping Policy.
14-Day Cancellation Right
For eligible online purchases, customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you, receive physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your cancellation right, you must contact Irish Drone before sending any product back. Please include your order number, product details and the reason for the return so that we can confirm the correct return process.
Conditions for Return
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as when it was received. The product must be returned in its original packaging, with all seals, accessories, manuals, cables, batteries, labels and protective materials included.
Returned products must not be damaged, altered, incomplete, used in flight, registered, activated, linked to a user account or affected by customer misuse. Irish Drone reserves the right to refuse a return or reduce the refund amount if the returned item is not in a resaleable condition.
Important for Drones: Once a drone has been activated, linked to a user account, flown, registered, configured or used, it may no longer be treated as a standard unused item for change-of-mind returns. Activated drones may contain usage records, flight logs, account links or device data. For this reason, Irish Drone cannot normally accept activated or flown drones under the standard change-of-mind return process unless the product is faulty or not as described.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please contact Irish Drone by email before sending any product back.

Please include your order number, customer name, product name, reason for return and any supporting photos or videos. We will review your request and confirm whether the item is eligible for return.
Please do not send products back without contacting us first. Items returned without approval may be delayed, refused or sent back to the customer.

Shipping Costs
Change of Mind: If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Faulty or Incorrect Items: If the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, we will cover the return shipping costs.
Refund Process
Once your returned item is received and inspected, Irish Drone will notify you by email that we have received the returned item. We will also confirm whether the refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card provider or payment platform. In most cases, approved refunds will be processed within 14 days after the returned item has been received and checked.
Irish Drone may deduct an appropriate amount from the refund if the returned product is incomplete, damaged, used, missing accessories, missing packaging or otherwise not in the condition in which it was supplied.
