This Return Policy applies to online orders placed through Irish Drone at https://www.irishdrone.ie/. It explains how returns, cancellations, refunds and faulty items are handled.

Your Right to Cancel an Online Order

If you are a consumer and you purchase goods online from Irish Drone, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To cancel an order during this period, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and clearly tell us that you wish to cancel and return the goods.

  • The product you wish to return
  • The delivery date
  • The reason for contacting us

You do not need to give a reason if you are cancelling within the legal cooling-off period.

Returning Goods After Cancellation

After you notify us that you wish to cancel and return an eligible online order, you must send the goods back to us within 14 days.

Please do not return any product without first contacting Irish Drone and receiving return instructions.

Returned items should be sent to the return address confirmed by our team. The return address may depend on the product type, supplier process or service requirement.

Condition of Returned Products

Returned products must be handled carefully and returned in a condition that allows them to be inspected and resold where appropriate.

Returned goods should include:

  • The original product
  • All accessories
  • Batteries, chargers, cables and controllers
  • Manuals and documentation
  • Original packaging where possible
  • Any free items or bundled accessories supplied with the order

For drones, payloads, cameras, batteries, charging stations and other high-value enterprise equipment, returned products must not be damaged, modified, misused or missing parts.

Where applicable, serial numbers, activation status, flight logs, registration status, packaging and accessories may be checked when the product is returned.

If goods are returned used, damaged, incomplete, activated, registered, missing accessories or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value, where permitted by law.

Products That May Not Be Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns

Some products may not be suitable for change-of-mind returns once opened, activated, customised, used or registered.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Customised or special-order products
  • Software licences, digital services or activated subscriptions
  • Care plans or service products that have already been activated
  • Products that have been used, flown, damaged, modified or registered
  • Items with missing serial numbers, missing accessories or incomplete packaging
  • Products specially ordered for a business or enterprise quotation

This does not affect your legal rights if the product is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet your consumer rights.

Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns during the cooling-off period, the customer is normally responsible for the cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

If the product is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible. In these cases, Irish Drone will review the issue and provide return instructions. Where the issue is confirmed, we will handle the matter in line with your legal rights.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service for returns, especially for drones, payloads, batteries, controllers and other high-value products.

Irish Drone is not responsible for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit because of unsuitable packaging or an uninsured return service arranged by the customer.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos or videos where relevant
  • Photos of the packaging if the item arrived damaged
  • Serial number information where applicable

Depending on the situation, we may arrange inspection, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy in line with Irish consumer law and product warranty terms.

Please do not continue using a product if you believe it is unsafe, damaged or faulty.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned goods, we will confirm whether the return has been approved.

If approved, refunds will normally be processed to the original payment method.

For eligible consumer cancellation returns, we will refund the appropriate amount within 14 days after we receive the returned goods, or after you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back, where applicable.

Refund timing may also depend on your bank, card provider, PayPal or payment provider.

Original delivery charges may be refunded where required by law. Additional delivery charges for premium, express or special delivery services may not be refundable unless required by law.

Exchanges and Replacements

If you need a replacement product, please contact us first. Replacement availability depends on stock, supplier availability, warranty review and product condition.

For DJI Enterprise products, some issues may need inspection, troubleshooting or manufacturer warranty review before a replacement can be confirmed.

Business, Enterprise and Quotation Orders

Some Irish Drone orders may be business-to-business, enterprise, special-order or quotation-based purchases.

Where an order is placed for business, trade or enterprise use, change-of-mind cancellation rights may differ from consumer online purchase rights. Returns for business, special-order or quotation-based products may require written approval from Irish Drone unless the product is faulty, incorrect or not as described.

This does not affect any legal rights that apply to faulty goods or goods that do not match the agreed order.

Important Notes

This policy does not limit your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer law.

Irish Drone reserves the right to inspect returned products before approving a refund, replacement or exchange.

Products must be packaged securely for return. Batteries and electronic equipment must be packed safely and in line with any applicable courier or transport requirements.
